ROC: Reaching Our Children

The project seeks to become an extended family to the inner-city youth by providing a nurturing atmosphere where youth can work through emotions.

Mission

To educate our youth on issues that plague our society, such as underage drinking, gang violence, teen pregnancy, and sexual abuse through prevention, intervention, and peer communication in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Meeting Time

6:00-8:00pm, 2^nd and 4^th Thursday of the month, October to May

Collaborating Organizations

Teen Challenge, Kutztown College, St Joe's Hospital, Reading Police Department, Peaceworks, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Berks AIDS Network, Berks Counseling Center.
